Ohio Treasurer Kevin L. Boyce Tours Intelligrated’s Expanded Mason Headquarters
Goodwill visit underscores Intelligrated’s strong partnership with the state of Ohio
(Cincinnati: June 17, 2010) Intelligrated® (www.intelligrated.com), a leading North American-owned automated material handling solutions provider, welcomed Ohio Treasurer Kevin L. Boyce to its Mason headquarters on June 15, 2010. Treasurer Boyce met with Intelligrated executives and toured the company’s expanded corporate offices.
The goodwill visit comes after the Ohio Treasury issued $5.6 million in bonds through the Ohio Enterprise Bond Fund (OEBF) to the company as part of a comprehensive financial incentive package from the state of Ohio valued at over $24 million. The State's incentive package supports the company's efforts to integrate the operations of recently acquired FKI Logistex and expand its facilities in London, West Chester and Mason, Ohio. Overall, Intelligrated’s project with the state of Ohio is responsible for creating 267 jobs and retaining 537 jobs in Ohio during the 3-year period of the project.
“Economic recovery begins with a partnership between government and the business community,” said Treasurer Boyce. “Intelligrated has shown great dedication to Ohio as our state continues to build a competitive edge in the logistics industry.”
Intelligrated, which has added over 160 jobs since last fall, recently completed its build-out of previously unused space in its Mason headquarters. The company incorporated its project management, engineering, human resources, finance, sales and sales support departments into the building. Intelligrated is also currently evaluating various facilities between 70,000 to 80,000 square feet near its headquarters to accommodate the company’s expanded customer service and parts fulfillment operation.
