Safety is a key emphasis in all Intelligrated training courses. To help you reduce or eliminate common workplace hazards, Intelligrated offers safety courses on OSHA standards and procedures led by OSHA-authorized instructors.
Our training and product manuals include easy-to-follow procedures and illustrations designed to assist your operations and maintenance staff in performing essential tasks. Intelligrated documentation also incorporates exploded-view drawings of subassemblies to show assembly breakdowns and simplify part identification. All manuals are available in both printed and electronic formats.

Training Courses
Conveyor 101 - Conveyor and Material Handling Overview
- Course Description: Participants are introduced to material handling equipment, controls, and various accessories. Emphasis is placed on material handling concepts, Intelligrated equipment and controls, and conveyor specific terminology.
- Course Length: 2 days, 8 hours per day
- Instructor: Intelligrated trainer with a background in material handling concepts and engineering.
- Course Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate.
- Prerequisites/Audience: Anyone in the general workforce who desires a basic understanding of conveyors and material handling systems
- Materials Included: Training manual and handouts
- Class size: 5 minimum, 20 maximum
Equipment Operation, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
- Course Description: Designed to provide an understanding of the operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the material handling system equipment, including component identification and replacement. Training is tailored to the product type; conveyors, sorters, palletizers, etc. Does not include electrical or controls maintenance.
- Course Length: 2-3 days, 8 hours per day (depends on equipment types included)
- Instructor: Intelligrated trainer with a background in mechanics with an emphasis on material handling equipment.
- Course Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate.
- Prerequisites/Audience: Maintenance personnel with mechanical or industrial experience, including lead maintenance personnel and supervisors.
- Materials Included: Training manual and handouts
- Class size: 5 minimum, 20 maximum
Control System Operation, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
- Course Description: Designed to provide an understanding of the operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the controls used for the material handling system. Includes information on the network, I/O, electrical devices, and all controls functionality and operator screens. Training is tailored to the controls product type; InControlWare®, BOSS®, PLC, etc. Does not include mechanical maintenance or procedures.
- Course Length: 2 days, 8 hours per day
- Instructor: Intelligrated trainer with a background in digital electronics and industrial electricity with an emphasis on material handling equipment controls.
- Course Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate.
- Prerequisites/Audience: Maintenance personnel with electrical or electronics experience, including lead maintenance technicians and supervisors.
- Materials Included: Training manual and handouts
- Class size: 5 minimum, 20 maximum
OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Safety
- Course Description: Participants are introduced to OSHA policies, procedures, and standards as well as general industry safety and health principles covered in OSHA 1910. The course also emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention. The course may also be tailored to the location or participant needs.
- Course Length: 2 days, 5 hours per day
- Instructor: OSHA authorized General Industry Outreach Program Trainer with a background in safety and health awareness.
- Course Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an OSHA general industry safety and health 10-hour course completion card.
- Prerequisites/Audience: Anyone, particularly those with safety and health responsibilities. Also, those planning to attend the OSHA Course 501 to become an authorized outreach trainer.
- Materials Included: Training manual and handouts
- Class size: 5 minimum, 20 maximum
OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Safety
- Course Description: Prerequisite to the OSHA Course 501, Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry. Participants are introduced to OSHA policies, procedures, and standards as well as general industry safety and health principles covered in OSHA 1910. The course also emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention. The course may be tailored to the location or participant needs.
- Course Length: 4 days, 8 hours per day
- Instructor: OSHA authorized General Industry Outreach Program Trainer with a background in safety and health awareness.
- Course Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an OSHA general industry safety and health 30-hour course completion card.
- Prerequisites/Audience: Anyone, particularly those with safety and health responsibilities. Also, those planning to attend the OSHA Course 501 to become an authorized outreach trainer.

- Class size: 5 minimum, 20 maximum
Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout)
- Course Description: Designed to provide an understanding of the requirements of the OSHA standard on Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout / Tagout) 29 CFR 1910.147. Participants are introduced to the key components of the standard and criteria for establishing a LOTO program. The course may be tailored to the location or participant needs.
- Course Length: 4 hours
- Instructor: OSHA authorized General Industry Outreach Program Trainer with a background in safety and health awareness.
- Course Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate.
- Prerequisites/Audience: Anyone responsible for lockout / tagout, required to use equipment affected by lockout / tagout, or working in an area where energy control procedures may be utilized.
- Materials Included: Training manual and handouts
- Class size: 5 minimum, 20 maximum
Basic Electricity for Maintenance Personnel
- Course Description: Participants are introduced to electrical theory and concepts, including the study of matter and how it relates to electron flow, and how voltage, ohms, and amperes interrelate in electrical circuits. Emphasis is placed on the application and troubleshooting of electrical devices in a material handling system. The course also emphasizes safety practices and use of basic test equipment. The course also may be tailored to the location or participant needs.
- Course Length: 2 days, 8 hours per day.
- Instructor: Intelligrated trainer with a background in digital electronics and electrical power.
- Course Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate.
- Prerequisites/Audience: Maintenance personnel with mechanical and/or fluid power experience who are looking for cross-training in the electrical field. Also provides refresher training for technicians who have been away from the field for some time.
- Materials Included: Training manual and handouts
- Class size: 5 minimum, 12 maximum
